AQUATIS a.s. is a design and engineering company operating in the field of water management and the environment.

We offer a wide spectrum of services to our clients in all fields of water management ranging from drinking water supplies and treatment, wastewater treatment and sewerage system designs to dam construction, weirs, rubber dams including delivery of retaining structures and commissioning (EPS), flood protection of towns, municipalities and industrial facilities.

For hydroeletric power plants of all types and sizes, including pumped-storage plants, we offer construction also through partners for EPC projects, funding and potential participation in the investments.

History

The Company was established in the year 1990 when the Brno division of Hydroprojekt Praha became an independent company. This company was transformed, during the 1990 privatization process, into a shareholding company AQUATIS a.s. In the period 1993 to 2004 AQUATIS a.s. was incorporated into the Austrian Verbundkonzern and then integrated into a Finnish trans-national corporation Pöyry Oyj, in which she stayed until 2015.

Currently the company is part of a leading industrial group SAFICHEM GROUP, active in the field of chemical, petrochemical, engineering and pharmaceutical industry and now even in the field of water engineering.
