Nové Heřminovy Dam

The documentation concerned a proposed technical solution to a concrete gravity dam located in a morphologically suitable profile upstream the municipality of Zátor, including all functional facilities, i.e. operation of the structure, modifications in the flood-prone area and linking the dam to the surrounding  landscape, facilities ensuring the functioning and operation of the dam, the operations centre and, last but not least, civil structures related to the project itself. 
The basic requirement for the reservoir was to transform flood flows and protection the area downstream the reservoir against floods. Other purposes of the reservoir were to improve flow rate in periods of low water flows and recreational and energy use.
