The subject of the project was to update the sewerage system master plan for the city of Brno and related work in the following scope:
1) City of Brno sewerage monitoring campaign The monitoring campaign took place between 1st May 2020 and 31st August 2020. As part of the measurement campaign, water levels, velocities and flow rates were measured in a total of 24 sewer profiles. Furthermore, data from the rain gauge network and operational measurement conducted by BVK, a.s. was used and validated. The measured data served as a basis for calibrating hydrological parameters of the sewerage mathematical models.
2) Development of the existing sewerage models, calibration of hydrological parameters based on the monitoring campaign and evaluation of the current condition including combine system overflow and wastewater treatment plant influent dilution ratios (11/2021).
3) Development of the existing sewerage models for the future situation according to current spatial planning documentation and spatial planning data, revision of the drainage concept, measures to be taken in the sewerage, financial analysis, discussion (12/2022).
4) Database administration and maintenance with the customer's and sewerage operator’s access. This is an ongoing activity continuing throughout the entire project duration until 03/2026.
5) Consulting services provided to the customer This concerns technical support for the customer in relation to the provision of expert opinions on the individual on investment plans and requests for changes in the sewerage concept. This is an ongoing activity continuing throughout the entire project duration until 03/2026.
