The Upper Odra river sub-basin plan and APSFR documentation concerning areas of potential significant flood risk 2021 – 2027

The Upper Odra sub-basin plan determines further orientation of water management in the entire river basin. 
The initial work included description of water management characteristics of the river basin, analyses of water use and determination of impacts of human activities on the state of water. An important part consisted of the assessment of the state of water bodies performed by comparing the results of water monitoring and the defined goals. The plan thoroughly addresses the area of flood protection, including flood risk as well as drought issues and water regime of the landscape. 
The crucial part of the plan is dedicated to proposed programs of measures aimed at achieving goals related to water protection as an  environmental domain (good status of water), goals aimed to reduce adverse effects of extreme water conditions (floods and droughts) and goals related to sustainable water management and provision of water management services .
