Analysis of areas with a significant flood risk managed by Povodí Moravy, s.p. including the proposed flood protection measures

The subject of the  assignment was the development of documents for the Areas of Potential Significant Flood Risk Plan in the Danube river basin for the 2nd planning period according to the Flood Directive (2021 – 2027). The work included the following stages:
• Stage A: Updating and processing of flood hazard and flood risk maps
• Stage B: Proposals for effective flood control measures
• Stage C: Development of documentation concerning areas of potential significant flood risk 
• Stage D: Preparation of documents for the Flood Risk Management Plan
 
Parameters:
Hydrodynamic models covering the total length of watercourses were developed:
• 2D model – 490.76 km 
• 1D model – 144.40 km
• 1D/2D model – 67.14 km
