Brno- Modřice WWTP, reconstruction and completion of sludge management, update

The main purpose of this project resulting from the study is to increase in the capacity of the sludge management system at the Brno-Modřice WWTP by  constructing a new sludge treatment system in  vacant areas at the WWTP site, which will replace the existing sludge management system.
 
The design includes construction of new surplus sludge mechanical thickening, new digesters, new buffer and mixing tanks, new mechanical sludge dewatering and drying, gas management, connecting underground collectors and c access roads.
 
Parameters:
Thickening line capacity 
primary sludge = 35 t DS/d
Capacity of mechanical thickening line 
surplus biological sludge = 31.6 t DS/d
Digester capacity = 55/65 t DS /d
Sludge dewatering and drying capacity = 55/65 t DS/d
